Pterostilbene is a polyphenol contained in plants, fruits, and nuts, with the highest concentration in blueberries and grapes. A randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study followed the effects of pairing Pterostilbene with NR and found that it was an effective way to raise NAD levels, and thus contribute to cellular health and fitness while aging. Combining NR and Pterostilbene may also increase LDL (good cholesterol) as demonstrated in human clinical studies.
