Description
Comfrey was used as a poultice by the ancient Greeks to stop bleeding. They also drank it as a tea for diarrhea and bronchitis.

Never take comfrey internally. Even though it was recommended by ancient healers in the past it has recently been shown to cause severe liver damage.
