The properties of Venocin®
Venocin® – High quality standardized extract obtained from chestnut seeds. It contains a minimum of 20% of escin, which is considered a drug that reduces swelling, has anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties. Clinical trials indicate the effectiveness of chestnut therapy in the treatment of leg swelling, varicose veins, hemorrhoids and chronic venous insufficiency (CVI). Chronic venous insufficiency is described as an advanced stage of venous disease caused either by superficial (severe varicose veins) or deep venous abnormalities that could lead to venous thrombosis. A characteristic effect of this condition is increased venous pressure during walking, that induces symptoms such as leg swelling, leg pain, and muscle cramps.
